About
I work across business processes, IT systems and operations. When a complex problem crosses different areas of the company, I usually get involved: understanding how the pieces fit together, deciding what needs to change, and making sure the result works in practice.
I see technology as part of the business process, not as a separate layer around it. The important work is understanding what the company needs, what information is required, where it should come from, how it should be organised, and how systems and people should interact around it.
I don't consider writing code to be the core of software development. Code is an implementation detail: something that has still to exist to produce the required result, which is what I am interested in. I frame the problem and define the requirements, architecture and constraints; A.I. takes part in the co-design, handles much of the implementation autonomously, and works with me again during review.
What interests me most about A.I. is what it can do as part of the company's information system: connected to any db of the company data, documents, workflows and industrial processes, with access to the context it needs to do useful work.
I test new technologies myself before introducing them more broadly, as that's my hobby too. I learn where they work, where they fail, and what is required to make them reliable enough for everyday use. What proves useful becomes part of the system; what does not gets trashed but still contributes to my knowledge.
I focus on making complex systems understandable, connected and effective. I am analytical, straightforward and accountable.

An Intranet
I built and maintain the internal platform behind a growing part of the company's operations. Thirteen applications are currently exposed directly to colleagues, all running on the same stack and integrated with our ERP and other company systems.
They cover budgeting and forecasting, margin and pricing analysis, warehouse and stock management, laundry operations, integration monitoring, and document retrieval. They are used every day by management, back office teams, and production staff.
Behind them is the shared infrastructure, integrations and services that make the whole system work. Since June 2025, the codebase has grown to more than 800 source files, around 124,000 lines of production code, and over 1,000 commits.
It is now part of the company's day-to-day operations.

Called in during a critical phase of the commissioning and start-up of the new Agrate (MB) plant. Monitored contractors, systems, and the plant. Fixed issues, restored progress, and ensured quality and deadlines. I also learnt tons.
